Home / Poetry / And There’s the Lightning
Posted on June 3, 2019August 17, 2022 by Devon M Scott

And There’s the Lightning

It’s never anybody’s fault.
We are equally and tragically
the same whirling storms,
fronts that run hot and cold
then we meet
And there’s the lightning
And the rain
Sound and fury with thunder voices
I’m sorry we argue
I’m sorry. We argued.
